Speed studies

A speed study measures the speed of free-flowing vehicles at a point or along a segment, reported as percentiles, pace and a distribution by speed bin. It supports posted speed limit reviews and neighbourhood speeding concerns.

Speeds are collected with pneumatic road tubes or by vision-based, non-intrusive methods, and are reviewed independently before release.
