US-169 Corridor Counts
22 intersections + 48 multi-day count & classification.
Completed in one week
Service
A turning movement count records every vehicle entering an intersection by approach, movement and vehicle class, in 15-minute intervals, together with pedestrian and bicycle crossings. It is the input for signal warrants, signal timing, capacity analysis and traffic impact studies.
Counts are collected by vision-based, non-intrusive methods and are reviewed independently before release.

Deliverables
| Intervals | 15-minute bins for the count period; peak-hour summary with PHF |
|---|---|
| Classes | Passenger vehicles, light trucks, heavy trucks, buses; pedestrians and bicycles where required; other schemes on request |
| Formats | Excel workbook, PDF summary with intersection diagram, 15-minute raw files; web map, dashboard and State Plane shapefile on request |
| Count periods | Peak periods, 12-hour, or 24-hour continuous |
| Turnaround | Corridor and citywide programs of 20–70 locations are routinely delivered in about one week; single sites sooner |
| Recent scale | 70 locations (Owasso, 2026), 60 intersections with pedestrian and bicycle counts (Oklahoma City, 2025), 80 locations (Bismarck-Mandan, 2022) |
Signal warrant analysis under the MUTCD, retiming and coordination, roundabout and turn-lane design, HCM capacity analysis, and traffic impact studies for development review. Agencies usually specify the count periods; developers' consultants usually need AM and PM peak periods on a representative weekday.
Yes. Send the template or the agency's specification with the request and the deliverable is produced in that layout.
If an incident, closure or weather event affects the count period, we tell you and recount at our expense.
Yes. Roundabouts and multi-leg intersections are counted with the same interval and class structure as a standard intersection.
